HGV Class 2 Tramping

Job Description

HGV Class 2 Tramping role with minimal handball.

During this role you would be expected to deliver to a range of destinations including:
– NDCs
– RDCs and
– Depos

You will have the aid of a specialist unloading crew. The HGV 2 vehicle that you would be driving would be curtain sided, so experience with curtain sided would be preferred but not necessary.

Nights out will be a requirement on specific runs.

Hourly Rate: Hourly rates of pay are as follows: - £13.50 – Days - £14.50 – Nights - £19.75 – Saturdays - £26.00 – Sundays and Bank Holidays Additional £23.00 pay for Nights Out! Please note we do not offer Visa Sponsorships

Working Hours: Within this role you be expected to start between 06:00 and 12:00 depending on your preference. Working weeks will not exceed 90 hours driving hours over 2 weeks and average working of 48 hours per week adhering to the Workers Rights Regulations. Weekend work is available.

Experience & Qualifications

If you have the following, you could be the successful candidate:
– A Valid Class 2 HGV Licence
– A Valid UK CPC
– A Valid Digital Tacho- Card
– At least 6 months commercial driving experience
