Job Description
This is an ongoing opportunity for unskilled drivers to gain further experience in the logistics sector or skilled drivers to further their experience.
You will be collecting fully loaded trailers or arriving with an empty trailer to be loaded at the Pallet Hub.
If collecting a loaded trailer, you will be either running in Solo or running in with an empty trailer to drop and swap or be loaded.
Some waiting will be required whilst at the Regional or National Hub for an allocated collection or loading time, you will know in advance to the use of POA can be applied.
No Manual handling of the load will be required but you maybe required to supervise loading and will be required to check the load security and stability before moving off to drop the load.
Duration: This position is a long term ongoing role.
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: The rate of pay is £17.54 per hour paid via our Umbrella provider.

You can choose to get paid through PAYE, meaning the pay is £14.50 per hour and in addition to this you get 28 days of annual leave,

Experience & Qualifications
Successful applicants must hold:
– An HGV 1 driving licence
– A valid UK CPC qualification
– A valid Digital Tachograph Card
You must also have at least 6 months HGV 1 driving experience.
