Job Description

Are you a Class 1 driver looking for ongoing work?

We are looking for drivers to deliver to stores around the UK. You will be allocated a route around the UK, where you will be delivering food produce to, between 1 and 3 loads to RDC or store addresses. As the loads will be generally farmed vegetable drivers will have to mindful of temperatures of the trucks. Most drops will not include any handball

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay is £17.55 per hour paid via our Umbrella provider. or You can choose to get paid through PAYE, meaning the pay is £14.50 per hour and in addition to this, we offer full pay for 28 days of annual leave, which will make the hourly rate £16.25 per hour including your holiday accrual.

Working Hours: Start times are 05:00 Monday to Friday, working around 10 to 12 hours a day.

Experience & Qualifications

The applicant must:
Ideally have experience in in tipping
Have held an HGV Class 1 (HGV Cat C+E) driving licence for a minimum of 6 months with a maximum of 6 penalty points, have a valid tachograph card.
New passes will be considered but must have class 2 experience.
Have a full and up to date driver CPC.
Be reliable, responsible, and compliant in all duties.
Be a team player, ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
Have good customer service skills essential when making deliveries.
