We have an excellent opportunity for an intelligent, hardworking and committed individual to work within a fast-paced auction house business.
As part of your daily tasks, you will be required to handle a wide range of valuable items, from large pieces of furniture and paintings to delicate ceramic and glass, as well as assisting with the day-to-day saleroom duties including;
Dealing with customers and stock items
Assisting with the preparation of Internet catalogues
Receiving, photographing, displaying and processing lots
Picking and packing purchased lots for dispatch
Supporting customers with loading their vehicles
Loading and unloading vans
Other general duties including viewing and sale day roles
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENCE
Good customer service skills
Written and spoken English
Good computer and Internet skills
Good attention to detail and being a fast and conscientious learner
Flexibility to vary work hours and work roles as part of a team where necessary
Must be legally entitled to work in the UK.
