Are you an experienced and dedicated HGV Low Loader Driver looking for a new opportunity?

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as an HGV Low Loader Driver.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate and maneuver heavy goods vehicles, specifically low loaders, to transport goods to various destinations.
Load and unload cargo onto the low loader, ensuring proper securement and safety measures are in place.
Plan routes efficiently, considering factors such as traffic, road conditions, and delivery schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.
Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay is £18.15 per hour paid via our Umbrella provider. or You can choose to get paid through PAYE, meaning the pay is £15.00 per hour and in addition to this, we offer full pay for 28 days of annual leave, which will make the hourly rate £16.81 per hour including your holiday accrual.
Working Hours: Hours of work are 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Experience & Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence.
Hold an up-to-date drivers CPC qualification.
Hold a digital tachograph card.
Proven experience as an HGV Low Loader Driver.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Excellent driving skills, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Ability to handle and secure various types of cargo on the low loader.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physically fit and capable of lifting and securing heavy loads.
Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
