Refuse truck (Cat C) drivers

Are you an experieneced HGV Class 2 driver who has driven a rear steer truck?

We have an opportunity for you to join us & support our long standing client as a refuse driver in the Leicestershire area.

As a refuse driver, reliability & a team player attitude is key. You will be the driver for your crew. Without you, the route can’t be completed.

You will drive around set routes with your crew to colelct general waste. There may be occasions that you are required to support the crew with the loading.

Duration: This role will start off as temporary but providing regular work for the next 5-6 weeks. There is an opportunity for this position to be ongoing after this period, even working towards a permanent, full time role.

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £12.70 per hour with double time paid on Bank Holidays

Working Hours: You will work Monday to Friday starting from 06:30. Once your route is completed you are done for the day but will always be paid a minimum 7 hours per shift.

Experience & Qualifications

Requirements for the role:
• HGV Class 2 qualification
• Full UK Driving licence
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous DD/DR/IN convictions
• Digi Card & CPC qualification
• Previous rear steer vehicle experience preferred
