HGV Driver - Class 1 - QS Recruitment

Job Description

Ongoing Class 1 HGV work is available in North Nottinghamshire for experienced, reliable drivers.

You will be required to make long distance runs to various depots across the UK, usually delivering/collecting to and from 1 or 2 sites per shift.
No physical loading and unloading will be required. All trucks are curtain sided or flat beded manual trucks.

Hourly Rate: All shifts are paid at £14.00 per hour PAYE + 28 days holiday pro rata £16.94 per hour paid via our Umbrella provider

Working Hours: Shifts available Monday to Friday Start time vary from 04:00 to 06:00

Experience & Qualifications

To be suitable for this role you must:
– Have a full UK Drivers Licence with a C+E entitlement.
– Have a minimum of 6 months continuous experience driving articulated lorries in the UK
– Have no more than 6 points on your Licence
– Have a strong and coherent understanding of driver’s working hours and working time directive.
– Have a Digital Tacho Card (Digicard)
– Have a valid Driver CPC Card
