Stores deliveries around the UK of fruit and vegetable produce. You will be allocated a route around the UK delivering between 1 and 3 loads to RDC or store addresses. As the loads will be generally farmed vegetable drivers will have to mindful of temperatures of the trucks. Most drops will not include any handball, but you may, on occasion be asked to assist clients with unloading.
Many of the drops will require tipping, so experience with a tipper truck is advantageous.

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay is £18.76 per hour paid via our Umbrella provider. or You can choose to get paid through PAYE, meaning the pay is £15.50 per hour and in addition to this, we offer full pay for 28 days of annual leave, which will make the hourly rate £17.38 per hour including your holiday accrual.

Working Hours: Start times vary with shifts lasting 10 - 12 hours per day between Monday and Friday.

Experience & Qualifications

The applicant must:
Ideally have experience in in tipping
Have held an HGV Class 1 (HGV Cat C+E) driving licence for a minimum of 6 months with a maximum of 6 penalty points, have a valid tachograph card.
New passes will be considered but must have class 2 experience.
Have a full and up to date driver CPC.
Be reliable, responsible, and compliant in all duties.
Be a team player, ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
Have good customer service skills essential when making deliveries.
