Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and capable Class 1 Curtain Side Driver to join our Castle Donington team. As a Curtain Side Driver, you will be responsible for the secure and timely transportation of goods using curtain side trailers. Your role will involve efficiently loading, unloading, and delivering various types of freight while adhering to delivery schedules and maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

Duration: This is a temporary role.

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay is £18.15 per hour paid via our Umbrella provider. or You can choose to get paid through PAYE, meaning the pay is £15.00 per hour and in addition to this, we offer full pay for 28 days of annual leave, which will make the hourly rate £16.81 per hour including your holiday accrual.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, starting between 04:00-06:00 and working between 10 to 12 hours a day.

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered, you must:
– Full U.K. Driving Licence with C+E entitlement
– Minimum of 12 months U.K. commercial driving experience in Class 1
– No more than 6 points
– No DD/DR/IN endorsements
