Job Description

Are you a HGV 2 Driver looking for ongoing work?

You will be completing runs of temperature-controlled goods, unloading at delivery point without handling the load, you will be required to open and close vehicle back doors all unloading will be completed at delivery point by a designated team member. You will be required to monitor the refrigeration unit at each destination without changing any controls and reporting any potential temperature issues to the depot immediately.

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay is £17.91 per hour paid via our Umbrella provider. or You can choose to get paid through PAYE, meaning the pay is £14.80 per hour and in addition to this, we offer full pay for 28 days of annual leave, which will make the hourly rate £16.58 per hour including your holiday accrual.

Working Hours: Start time of between 5 and 8am Monday to Friday.

Experience & Qualifications

-Hold a professional manner.
-Work to the working time directive and drivers’ hours.
-Hold an up-to-date drivers CPC qualification.
-Hold a digital tachograph card.
-Hold an in-date Class 2 Driving licence.
-Have held your class 2 licence for 12 months or over
-Have completed at least 60 days driving class 2 in the last 12 months
