Work for a timber frame production company, with immediate starts, as a Truss Setter!

This timber company is looking for a Truss Setter to produce roof trusses.

Job Details:
-You will be measuring the timber to size as well as assembling the roof trusses together with the use of machinery and hand tools.
-This position includes heavy lifting, concentration and a willingness to work hard/meet targets.
-This position is temp to perm, therefore once you have completed 65 shifts through QS Recruitment, you will move directly across to the company for a permanent position.
-Once you have gone permanent, your wage with increase to £11.75 per hour

Duration: This is a temp to perm position – after 65 completed shifts you will gain a full contract with the company.

Hourly Rate: This position starts at £11 per hour, however is based upon experience and so may be higher if well-experienced.

Working Hours: This position is Monday to Friday - rotational shifts. Week 1: 6am-2pm. Week 2: 2pm-10pm.

Experience & Qualifications

Requirements:
-Experience in building roof trusses (advantageous).
-Experience in a similar role.
-Experience working alongside timber/wood.
-Experience using hand tools.
-The ability to lift heavy objects.
-Having a keen eye for detail.
-An excellent work ethic.
