Work for a timber frame production company, with immediate starts, as a Truss Setter!

This timber company is looking for a Truss Setter to produce roof trusses. You will be measuring the timber to size as well as assembling the roof trusses together with the use of machinery and hand tools.

This position includes heavy lifting, concentration and a willingness to work hard/meet targets.

Duration: This is a temp to perm position, meaning you will gain a permanent contract with the company after completing 65 shifts.

Hourly Rate: This position starts at £11 per hour, however is based upon experience and so may be higher if well-experienced. This position is temp to perm, therefore once you have completed 65 shifts through QS Recruitment, you will move directly across to the company for a permanent position. Once you have gone permanent, your wage with increase to £11.75 per hour.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday. Rotational shifts. Week 1: 6am-2pm. Week 2: 2pm-10pm.

Experience & Qualifications

Requirements:
Experience in a similar role.
Experience working alongside timber/wood.
Experience using hand tools.
The ability to lift heavy objects.
Having a keen eye for detail.
An excellent work ethic.
