One of the areas fasting growing, family ran business’s require a friendly and approachable person to work within a close-knit team within our reception area. You will welcome customers and visitors while supporting the processing of orders, for dispatch, collection. You will also be processing order using a variety of payments methods including cash and card payments.
You will be an integral part of the admin team providing support to key departments. This is a multifaceted role, which requires effective communication skills to manage interdepartmental inquiries. This is a fast paced working environment so thinking on your feet it a must have skill. You will be using your face-to-face negotiation and organisational skills, to achieve your operational objectives for customer satisfaction and efficient and speedy order dispatches
You must be flexible and have a can do attitude to learning, new skills with cross department training to suit the needs of the business are an important part of team within our business.
Duties will include the following
· Processing customer orders using MAM / Google Docs
· Processing dispatch via Fedex / TNT / PTI Online booking systems
· Processing payments via Paid by Link / Card processing / bank transfers / pay pal
· Cash handling
· Answering the telephone
· Filing
· Updating company dashboard / commission cash sheets
· ESL / Intrastat updates
· VAT Validation / checking follow ups
· End of day cash sheet data entry / checking
· Excellent communications skills – both face to face and on the telephone
· Any other ad hoc duties as required.
